The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop entitled The Role of Women in Water Conservation, held at the College of Dentistry hall and delivered by Dr. Ali Salman, in the presence of the Dean of the College and a distinguished group of faculty members and administrative staff. The workshop aimed to highlight the vital role played by women in rationalizing water consumption within the family and society, while promoting awareness of the importance of preserving this essential resource through responsible daily practices. The session addressed several key topics, including sustainable water resource management, the role of family-based awareness in reducing water waste, and practical methods that can be adopted to contribute to water conservation. The workshop also witnessed active engagement from attendees through discussions and contributions that enriched its themes, emphasizing the importance of strengthening environmental awareness and promoting a culture of social responsibility toward protecting natural resources. The College Deanship affirmed that organizing such awareness workshops reflects its commitment to its academic and societal mission in promoting environmental culture and raising awareness among its members, thereby supporting efforts toward sustainability. This activity forms part of a series of awareness initiatives organized by the College aimed at promoting environmental awareness and encouraging positive practices toward the conservation of natural resources.
