In a bright humanitarian scene that reflects the spirit of giving and responsibility, Al-Mustaqbal University launched a distinctive initiative to support children with diabetes and enhance community engagement, under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen. This initiative, implemented by the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies through a visit to the Association for the Care of Children with Diabetes on Saturday, 4/4/2026, represents a true embodiment of human values within university life, as the university was keen to provide psychological and moral support to the children, in addition to contributing to improving the care environment provided to them. The initiative also included the distribution of gifts and in-kind assistance that brought smiles to the children’s faces and added warmth and hope to their hearts. It was not limited to the humanitarian aspect only; it also featured a technical dimension, where the maintenance committee carried out comprehensive electrical network maintenance inside the association, starting from fault detection and repair, to rehabilitating vital facilities, ensuring a safe and stable environment for the children. Moreover, the initiative provided students and participants with an exceptional opportunity to apply their engineering knowledge in practice, in a real-world experience that helps refine their skills and enhance their readiness for the labor market. In conclusion, the association’s administration expressed its deep gratitude to Al-Mustaqbal University for this noble gesture that combined professionalism with humanity, emphasizing its significant impact in supporting children and improving the level of services provided to them. Through this initiative, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its pioneering mission in serving the community, proving that its role goes beyond academic education to include building a cohesive society filled with hope and humanity.
