The Department of Medical Biotechnology at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop titled “Clean Energy and Its Role in Environmental Protection” on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Sarah Rahim Hamza and attended by a number of students and faculty members. Al-Mustaqbal University – The First University in Iraq. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of transitioning to clean energy sources, such as solar and wind energy, and their effective role in reducing environmental pollution and preserving natural resources for future generations. The session included a scientific presentation covering the latest technologies in renewable energy, as well as a discussion of the challenges facing their implementation, along with proposed solutions to promote their adoption across various sectors. The workshop also witnessed active participation from attendees through questions and discussions, reflecting their awareness and interest in contemporary environmental issues. This event comes as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and spread scientific knowledge among students.
