Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the "5th Annual Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair" was launched on Saturday, April 4, 2026, under the slogan "Our Book is Our Future." The opening ceremony featured the presence of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rodhan Salman, accompanied by the Head of the English Department, Dr. Salam Hassan Makki, along with the department’s faculty and many students. The delegation toured the fair, which includes 25 international and local publishing houses, to explore the latest scientific and literary publications. This participation aims to support culture and encourage students to read, especially with the university's initiative of distributing free book coupons. The department leadership emphasized that the presence of English language professors and students reflects their commitment to scientific and cultural growth, helping to build an educated generation capable of shaping the future.
