Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Fifth Al-Mustaqbal Annual Book Fair was inaugurated on Saturday, April 4, 2026, under the slogan “Our Book, Our Future,” in the presence of a distinguished academic and cultural audience that included university leaders, faculty members, students, and a number of individuals interested in cultural and intellectual affairs. This exhibition is considered one of the أبرز cultural events organized annually by the university, aiming to promote a culture of reading and spread knowledge awareness among students, as well as support publishing and authorship, and create opportunities for communication between readers and various publishing houses. This year, the exhibition witnessed wide participation from 25 publishing houses, offering a diverse collection of books covering scientific, medical, engineering, literary, and humanities fields, in addition to self-development and children’s books. This provided visitors with the opportunity to explore the latest publications and a wide range of titles catering to different interests. The exhibition was also marked by the launch of a purposeful cultural initiative involving the distribution of free book purchase coupons. This step aimed to encourage students to acquire books, develop their reading and research skills, and strengthen their connection with reliable knowledge sources. The initiative received strong engagement and a large turnout from students, as it directly supports their academic journey. The exhibition also featured interactive activities and cultural discussions between students and representatives of publishing houses, contributing to the creation of a vibrant intellectual environment that encourages the exchange of ideas and experiences, and reinforces the importance of books as a primary source of knowledge and culture. The organization of this exhibition comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s strategy to reinforce its role as a leading educational institution in supporting cultural and scientific activities, and to contribute to building an educated and well-informed generation capable of keeping pace with scientific and intellectual developments, and actively contributing to serving the community.
