With hearts believing in God's will, the English Department at the College of Education, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a mourning vigil today, Sunday, April 5, 2026, to recite Surah Al-Fatiha for the soul of the first-stage student, Ali Ibrahim Abd, who passed away following a tragic accident. The vigil was held in front of the Humanities Building near the amphitheater at 10:00 AM, with the participation of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rodhan Salman, and the Head of the English Department, Dr. Salam Hassan Makki, alongside faculty members and a large crowd of students. Attendees expressed their deep sorrow for the loss of their colleague, confirming their full solidarity with the family of the deceased. The atmosphere was filled with grief and reverence as they prayed for the deceased to rest in eternal peace and for his family to find patience and solace. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.
