As part of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise between universities, the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering at the College of Engineering conducted a joint examination for second-year students in Prosthetics I and third-year students in Prosthetics III, in collaboration with the University of Karbala.
The examination was supervised by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Ali Kamel Karim, and attended by a number of faculty members from the College of Engineering. It also witnessed the participation of a delegation from the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala, including Professor Dr. Methaq Nima Al-Wuhailee, Assistant Professor Dr. Jabbar Hussein, and Assistant Professor Dr. Dirgham Abdul Rahim.
This joint examination reflects the college’s commitment to enhancing the quality of education and unifying academic standards, contributing to improving students’ academic performance and achieving distinguished educational outcomes aligned with labor market needs. It also supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by improving education standards, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening academic collaboration between educational institutions.
