The Department of Medical Physics at the College of Science at Almustaqbal University organized an educational scientific workshop on rationalizing water consumption on March 26, 2026. The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Fouad Atiyah Majid and aimed to raise environmental awareness among students and promote the responsible use of water resources. The workshop was held as part of the department’s scientific and educational activities. It addressed the importance of water as one of the essential resources in human life and explained the need to protect it from waste and misuse because of its direct impact on environmental protection and sustainability. The workshop also highlighted a number of daily practices that help reduce water consumption in educational institutions and in society, while emphasizing that water conservation is not only an individual behavior, but also a collective responsibility that requires awareness and cooperation from الجميع. The event witnessed positive interaction from attendees through discussions and remarks, reflecting students’ interest in environmental topics and the importance of linking academic knowledge with contemporary community issues. This workshop came within the Department of Medical Physics’ efforts to build scientific and environmental awareness among students and encourage them to adopt positive practices that preserve natural resources and serve the community.
