The Media Department at the College of Arts and Humanities, Al-Mustaqbal University, held a specialized scientific workshop this Monday morning, April 6, 2026, titled: "The Role of Media in Promoting the Principles of Social Justice," embodying the university's role in serving humanitarian causes. The workshop witnessed a remarkable attendance of department students and media enthusiasts. It was presented by a distinguished group of faculty members: Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Abais Abd Al-Sada, Lecturer Dr. Mundhir Ali Ahmed, and Assistant Lecturer Maitham Muayyad Abbas. The workshop provided an analytical reading of the importance of media in spreading social awareness and promoting values of equality. It highlighted the ethical and professional responsibility of media institutions in adopting humanitarian issues and establishing justice as a fundamental pillar for social stability. At the conclusion of the session, the lecturers emphasized the need to supply the media field with young cadres possessing sufficient awareness to create a positive impact. They stressed that purposeful media is the primary driver for building a cohesive society where fairness prevails, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University's vision to prepare a cultured and responsible academic generation.
