As part of its ongoing series of scientific activities aimed at enhancing students' practical skills, Future University's Biomedical Engineering Department organized a specialized workshop on the Sensory Nerve Supply of the Scalp. The workshop, led by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Sattar, aimed to connect anatomical science with modern medical technologies. About the Workshop: The workshop aimed to deepen students' understanding of neuroanatomical structure through a detailed explanation of sensory nerve pathways and their distribution. The session emphasized the importance of this understanding in designing medical devices that process nerve signals, as well as in local anesthesia procedures and reconstructive surgeries involving the head. Methodology: The workshop employed an interactive presentation style, which included: • Analyzing anatomical diagrams and clarifying the regions supplied by each sensory nerve. • Explaining the relationship between nerve distribution and the efficiency of electrodes used in electroencephalography (EEG) devices. • Discussing the engineering challenges of simulating neural responses within medical systems. The lecture hall witnessed significant student engagement, as these lectures helped simplify complex medical concepts and connect them to practical Indian realities, thus enhancing graduates' competence in medical maintenance and development. Objectives of the Scientific Activity: This scientific activity contributes to achieving several key objectives, including: • Objective 3 (Good Health and Well-being): by providing students with the necessary knowledge to develop more accurate diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for diseases related to the nervous system. • Objective 4 (Quality Education): by offering scientific content that integrates medicine and engineering technologies, ensuring the preparation of a qualified generation in line with international standards.
