Al-Mustaqbal University welcomed, on Sunday الموافق April 5, 2026, a scientific delegation from the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala, including Professor Mithaq Nima Al-Wuhaibi, Assistant Professor Jabbar Hussein, and Assistant Professor Dirgham Abdulrahim, in a visit to the Prosthetics and Orthotics Workshop at the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering. The visit was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Kamel Karim, the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Mamouri, the Department Rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Muntadhar Saleh Mahdi, and the Head of Laboratories, Engineer Aya Talib Hassan. During the visit, the delegation reviewed the technical capabilities and modern technologies used in the design and manufacturing of prosthetic devices, as well as the practical training mechanisms provided to students, which contribute to enhancing their skills and bridging the gap between theoretical and applied learning. This visit comes within the framework of strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise between universities, supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through improving prosthetic technologies and quality of life for people with disabilities, and Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting an advanced practical learning environment.
