A team of faculty members from the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Al-Mustaqbal University held an educational scientific workshop on Tuesday, April 5, 2026, titled “Environmental Sustainability: A Pillar of Sustainable Development.” This workshop was part of the department’s academic activities aimed at raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainability concepts among students.
The workshop was conducted with the participation of:

The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of environmental sustainability and its role in achieving sustainable development by discussing key contemporary environmental challenges and presenting scientific and technological solutions that contribute to preserving natural resources and reducing the negative impacts of pollution.
The workshop also covered several topics addressing the role of modern technology, particularly artificial intelligence, in supporting environmental efforts through the development of smart systems for resource management and improving the efficiency of energy and water usage.
The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from students, with numerous questions and discussions that enriched the session and enhanced practical understanding of sustainability concepts.
This activity comes in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of supporting scientific and cultural initiatives and building an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with global developments, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals, particularly those related to environmental protection and quality education.
