In an effort to strengthen students’ practical skills and link academic study with real-world applications, the students of the Anesthesia Technology Department visited the Intensive Care Unit at Imam Al-Sadiq Hospital on April 6. The visit aimed to familiarize students with intensive care equipment and patient management techniques, allowing them to understand medical procedures and necessary precautions in a critical care setting.
During the visit, the hospital medical staff provided hands-on demonstrations on the use of various devices, monitoring vital signs, and safety procedures in providing high-quality patient care. Emphasis was placed on the importance of coordination between the medical team and the anesthesia team to ensure optimal patient care.
This activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, as it seeks to prepare medical personnel capable of delivering safe and effective healthcare, contributing to improving the quality of health services in hospitals.
The activity was supervised by Dr. Talib Jigan, who guided the students and emphasized the importance of linking theoretical knowledge with practical experience in the Intensive Care Unit.
