The Media Department at the College of Arts and Humanities, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a specialized awareness lecture titled: "The Role of Media in Educating Citizens on the Dangers of Bullying" on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. The lecture targeted first-stage students as part of the department's awareness program aimed at highlighting current social issues and their media solutions. The session was presented by Assistant Lecturer Nomas Adhab Khafif, who explained the fundamental importance of media in curbing the phenomenon of bullying. The lecturer reviewed mechanisms for spreading social awareness and highlighting the negative psychological and social impacts of this phenomenon. He emphasized the necessity of adopting a media discourse that promotes human values and builds a safe environment based on mutual respect, especially among youth and students. The hall witnessed remarkable interaction from the students, who raised a series of questions and discussions that enriched the session and deepened the understanding of how to confront this phenomenon through various media platforms. This activity is part of a series of scientific and educational activities that the Media Department is keen on organizing continuously to raise the level of cultural and social awareness among students and fortify them with solid academic and human values.
