Assistive robots are particularly effective in caring for seniors suffering from conditions such as dementia or memory loss. They can remind them to take medication, assist in mobility around the home, and even provide emotional support through interactive conversations. These robots can also monitor the patient's health through sensors to detect changes in conditions such as low blood pressure or blood sugar levels, sending alerts to caregivers or doctors. Another significant contribution of these robots is enhancing the independence of the elderly.
