Al-Mustaqbal University demonstrated a distinguished international presence during its participation in EURIE 2026, where Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the University President, attended the opening of the university’s pavilion at the international exhibition in Istanbul, accompanied by an academic delegation and alongside wide participation from global universities and educational institutions. The university’s pavilion received a high-level official visit from the Turkish Minister of Higher Education, accompanied by Professor Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of the Eurasian Universities Union, and Professor Dr. Amr Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, in addition to several government officials and university presidents from around the world. The visiting delegation reviewed the university’s key academic and scientific achievements, as well as its leading initiatives in education, research, and sustainability. The Turkish Minister expressed his admiration for the university’s advanced level and praised its distinguished academic and scientific reputation at both regional and international levels. For his part, the President of Al-Mustaqbal University expressed his pride in this high-level visit, extending his sincere appreciation to the Minister for his interest in visiting the pavilion, noting that such recognition represents a strong motivation to continue excellence and further strengthen the university’s global presence. This participation came as part of the university’s strategy to expand international cooperation, showcase its pioneering experiences, and build impactful partnerships with leading global academic institutions, reinforcing its position among advanced universities regionally and internationally. AL-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
