As part of its efforts to strengthen its international presence and affirm its advanced academic standing, Al-Mustaqbal University participated prominently in the international exhibition held on the sidelines of the Eurasia Higher Education Summit (EURIE 2026) in Istanbul, with the attendance of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by an academic delegation representing the university. The university’s pavilion attracted significant attention from academic and official figures, receiving a high-level visit from the Turkish Minister of Higher Education, accompanied by the President of the Eurasian Universities Union, Professor Dr. Mustafa Aydın, and the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Professor Dr. Amr Salama, along with a number of university presidents and officials from various countries. The visiting delegation was introduced to the university’s comprehensive presentation, showcasing its academic and scientific achievements, as well as its leading initiatives in education, scientific research, and sustainability. The Turkish Minister of Higher Education expressed his admiration for the university’s advanced level, praising its distinguished academic reputation at both regional and international levels. For his part, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi expressed his pride in this important visit, extending his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister for his interest and for taking the time to explore the university’s experience. He emphasized that such recognition serves as a strong motivation to continue the path of excellence and to further enhance the university’s global academic engagement. This participation aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to expand international cooperation, promote its pioneering achievements, and build strategic partnerships with leading global academic institutions, thereby strengthening its position among advanced universities regionally and internationally. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
