Al-Mustaqbal University has announced the launch of an ambitious initiative titled "Innovate to Save Energy" under the slogan "Think, Innovate, Launch." This initiative is part of the 4th International Future Sustainability Week, scheduled for April 12–15, 2026, and aims to promote sustainable practices and rationalize energy consumption across the campus. The initiative targets all students, faculty members, and staff, inviting them to actively participate by submitting innovative ideas and practical projects that contribute to reducing energy consumption and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The initiative focuses on four key pillars: innovative ideas for energy conservation, smart solutions for consumption management, awareness campaigns, and renewable energy projects. The university has allocated valuable material and honorary awards to recognize the best ideas and projects submitted. It also emphasized its commitment to supporting and funding outstanding proposals, providing full opportunities to implement them within the university’s facilities, thus turning student innovations into tangible sustainable solutions.
