The festivities of the "5th Annual Al-Mustaqbal Book Fair" concluded on Wednesday morning, April 8, 2026. Held under the theme "Our Book is Our Future" and sponsored by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the event saw a high-level academic and cultural presence, solidifying its position as the largest cultural manifestation across Iraqi universities. This edition featured the active participation of 25 Iraqi and Arab publishing houses, with activities spanning five days filled with diverse engagements. Dr. Ahmed Hassan Shakir, Head of the Student Activities Department, emphasized that the fifth edition was distinguished by a notable Arab and international presence.
