Al-Mustaqbal University continued the activities of its 5th Annual Book Fair for the second and third consecutive days (April 4 and 5, 2026), amidst a remarkable public and cultural turnout. The fair continues to capture attention as one of the largest academic events organized with a professional approach that blends solid knowledge with the spirit of youthful creativity.
The fair's corridors witnessed a distinguished presence of elite academics, poets, and writers, who enriched the cultural movement with in-depth panel discussions addressing significant intellectual and social issues. This contributed to creating an interactive space between guests and students, enhancing the value of cultural awareness within the university campus.
Students from the College of Fine Arts shined during the activities by performing the theatrical play "The Martyr," which portrayed a national epic embodying the values of sacrifice and heroism.
The performance received widespread acclaim from the attendees, who praised the sincere acting and the noble message presented by the students, emphasizing the role of art in consolidating national identity.
The fair is organized and directly supervised by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, who sought to transform this event into a distinguished cultural platform that combines thought and art, reaffirming the university's position as a primary incubator for knowledge and creativity in Iraq.
