Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the College of Technical Engineering – Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies, is preparing to host the "First Al-Mustaqbal Forum in Fuel & Energy" under the theme (Powering the Future: From Conventional Fuels to Sustainable Energy) on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the university campus. This prominent scientific event aims to highlight technical innovations in the energy sector, featuring a distinguished panel of experts and speakers. Moderated by Prof. Dr. Kadhim Al-Sultani, with the participation of Dr. Ammar Ali Abd, Dr. Ridha Al-Rubaiee, and Prof. Dr. Alaa Dhari Jawad Al-Bayati, the forum will discuss vital pillars including oil and gas technologies, biofuels (including Microalgae & Spirulina), carbon capture techniques, energy storage systems, and CFD applications in energy systems. The forum will be attended by the Deans of Colleges, along with a group of academics and specialists, seeking to provide an interactive platform that bridges academic research and industrial application to support sustainable development strategies and the global transition towards clean energy.
