The College of Health and Medical Technologies organized an awareness event on 4/4/2026 on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, during which it hosted the center of specialist Sura Haroun Rashid, with the participation of a number of children. The event included recreational and interactive activities aimed at providing psychological support to children and enhancing their social integration, in addition to a scientific lecture addressing autism spectrum disorder, the importance of early diagnosis, and modern rehabilitation methods. The Dean of the College, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, confirmed that these initiatives come within the college’s commitment to its social responsibility in supporting special groups and promoting health awareness in the community. The event concluded with honoring the specialist and the center’s administration in appreciation of their efforts in caring for children and contributing to raising awareness about autism.
