Al-Mustaqbal University Launches Financial Awareness Campaign

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Arts and Human Sciences, launched an awareness campaign today, Saturday, April 11, 2026, titled "Empowering Women through Electronic Payment: A Step Towards Financial Independence and Digital Security". The campaign featured a presentation by Asst. Lect. Rusul Ni'ma Kamal, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit and a faculty member in the Department of English Language and Literature. The session highlighted the vital role of digital payment methods in providing ease and security for daily financial transactions. The campaign aims to economically empower women by giving them greater control over managing their finances independently and promoting a culture of digital safety and data protection. This initiative aligns with the Third National Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (Prevention and Protection Pillar) and supports Sustainable Development Goal 5 (Gender Equality). It further reinforces the leading position of Al-Mustaqbal University, ranked first among private universities, in driving societal progress and digital inclusion.
