The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in the launch of the Fourth International Future Sustainability Week, organized by the university from Saturday, April 11, 2026, to Thursday, April 15, 2026, with broad participation from academic departments, students, and faculty members.
This participation aligns with the university’s strategic direction to support sustainability concepts and enhance environmental, health, and technological awareness. The department presented a range of scientific and awareness activities highlighting the role of modern technologies and intelligent systems in achieving sustainable development and improving quality of life.
The department’s booth was visited by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, who reviewed the exhibits and student projects and listened to detailed explanations from faculty members and students about the innovations in intelligent medical systems and their applications in supporting the healthcare sector.
The University President praised the high scientific level of the presented projects, emphasizing the importance of strengthening applied scientific research and encouraging students to develop innovative technological solutions that serve society and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.
The visit also included direct interactions with participating students, who expressed their appreciation for this engagement and the university leadership’s support, which motivates them toward further creativity and innovation.
This activity comes as part of a series of events organized by Al-Mustaqbal University during Sustainability Week, aiming to promote awareness of sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 13 (Climate Action).
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
