On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the Department of Emergency Medical Technologies held an extensive meeting with students’ parents at the department premises in the College of Medicine building, attended by the Head of the Department, Dr. [Saad Abdul Rahim Hussein], along with several faculty members. This meeting is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen communication between the college and students’ families and to regularly monitor students’ academic progress.
The meeting included a detailed presentation of students’ performance during the current semester, including statistics on academic achievement and practical participation in laboratories and hands-on sessions related to emergency medical technologies. The department also outlined future educational plans, including training workshops, supplementary programs to enhance practical skills, and available academic support mechanisms for students.
During the meeting, parents had the opportunity to interact directly with faculty members, ask questions, provide feedback on the educational process, and explore ways to better support their children, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment. The department emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration between families and the college to achieve academic excellence and develop students’ practical skills.
