In line with Future University's vision to enhance the quality of education and ensure the competence of its graduates, the Biomedical Engineering Department organized an "Exit Meeting" for graduating students. The meeting was attended by the Dean's Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ali Kamel Karim, the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Mardas, and the Director of the Quality Assurance Division, Dr. Enas Reda Ali.
About the Meeting:
The meeting aimed to evaluate the academic experience of graduating students and measure the extent to which the targeted learning outcomes were achieved. The session focused on establishing a direct channel of communication with graduates to gather their feedback on the curriculum and educational services, ensuring their skills align with the demands of the medical and engineering job market.
Methodology:
The meeting adopted an open and transparent dialogue approach, during which the following took place:
• An analysis of the academic and technical challenges students faced throughout their studies.
• A discussion of the development proposals submitted by students to improve the laboratory and research environment within the department.
• The distribution of certificates of appreciation in recognition of the students' outstanding efforts and to motivate them to embark on their professional careers as qualified engineers. The meeting witnessed positive interaction reflecting a high academic spirit. These meetings contribute to charting a roadmap for developing the department in accordance with national and international program accreditation standards.
