Launched Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the final preparations for the Fourth Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week on Sunday, 12/4/2026, at the university campus, through an extensive field tour during which he reviewed the readiness of halls, scientific and artistic exhibitions, and organizational plans to استقبال guests from academic and research institutions. This step came through direct supervision and close follow-up to ensure the delivery of high-quality activities that showcase green innovation projects and strengthen scientific collaboration, aiming to transform research ideas into practical solutions that support environmental and societal sustainability, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 13 (Climate Action). The organization of this week reflects the university’s commitment to promoting a culture of sustainability, raising environmental awareness, and building strong partnerships with relevant institutions. The event is expected to witness distinguished academic and research attendance, along with a series of specialized activities and programs. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first among private universities in Iraq.
