The Communications Technologies Department began its intensive preparations on April 12 at the Energy Research Center, working closely with students to finalize scientific projects and posters for Sustainability Week. These efforts included collaborative workshops and organized sessions aimed at refining ideas into practical, presentation-ready projects, as well as designing posters that highlight the technical and research aspects of students’ work under the supervision of the department staff. The preparations were attended by the Dean, Dr. Azhar Ashraf, who conducted a field visit to review the progress of the projects. He listened to detailed explanations presented by the students about their work and provided valuable feedback and guidance to enhance the quality of their presentations. He also commended the efforts of both students and faculty, emphasizing the importance of such activities in developing practical and scientific skills. These initiatives aim to promote innovation and support the principles of sustainable development, particularly Affordable and Clean Energy (Goal 7), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (Goal 9), and Climate Action (Goal 13). This reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment, as the leading private university in Iraq, to fostering sustainability awareness and encouraging impactful scientific contributions among its students.
