The Department of Industrial Medical Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Universit Al-Mustaqbal, organized a scientific event titled “Knowledge Treasure Competition” on Sunday, 12 April 2026, as part of Sustainability Week activities, held at the Medical Building – Ground Floor. The event aimed to raise awareness about kidney health and its vital role in maintaining human wellbeing through interactive activities and scientific questions covering essential kidney functions, major related diseases, prevention methods, and highlighting the importance of proper nutrition and a healthy lifestyle in maintaining kidney health. The competition witnessed active participation from the department’s students, who contributed to organizing the event segments with great enthusiasm. At the conclusion of the competition, prizes were awarded to the winning students, where awareness stickers were distributed to encourage drinking water and promote kidney health, in an atmosphere of positive interaction, contributing to strengthening preventive health behaviors among students. This activity aligns with Universit Al-Mustaqbal’s commitment to supporting student initiatives and empowering students to play an active role in spreading scientific knowledge, thereby fostering a sustainable educational environment based on creativity and positive engagement, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education).
