The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, visited the booth of the Medical Physics Department in the Central Hall on Sunday, April 12, 2026, as part of the activities of the Fourth Future Sustainability Week held at Al-Mustaqbal University from April 12 to April 15, 2026. During his visit, the University President reviewed the scientific presentations, educational models, and specialized displays featured at the booth, which reflected the nature of medical physics and its role in serving the healthcare sector, particularly in the fields of medical imaging, radiation therapy, radiation measurements, and radiation protection. He and the Dean also listened to an explanation presented by the department’s students about the exhibits, emphasizing the importance of this specialization in linking scientific knowledge with practical application and in supporting sustainability concepts within the university environment. This visit highlighted the academic standing of the Medical Physics Department and reflected the interest of the university presidency and the college deanship in supporting scientific activities that contribute to spreading scientific culture and raising students’ awareness of the importance of applied medical specializations and their role in serving the community. The University President and the Dean also praised the efforts of the department and its students in presenting distinguished scientific content that demonstrated a high level of preparation, organization, and the ability to communicate scientific information in a clear and purposeful academic manner.
