April 13, 2026 – The Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, Lecturer Dr. Dhulfiqar Ahmed Hamza, held a meeting with the department’s Quality Assurance Committee as part of ongoing efforts to monitor academic and administrative performance and strengthen quality standards within the department. The meeting addressed several key topics, most notably the mechanisms for improving the quality of the educational process and enhancing learning outcomes in alignment with academic accreditation requirements. It also included a review and updating of the curriculum to keep pace with recent scientific advancements in the field of medical laboratory techniques. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the importance of documenting academic and scientific activities, improving teaching performance through the adoption of modern educational methods, and encouraging active student participation in scientific initiatives. The meeting also featured discussions on various proposals aimed at improving the educational environment within the department, including upgrading laboratory infrastructure, providing advanced teaching tools to support practical training, and strengthening collaboration between academic and administrative committees to achieve optimal outcomes. During the meeting, the Head of the Department stressed the importance of adhering to comprehensive quality standards and working collaboratively as a team, highlighting the need for continuous follow-up on the implementation of recommendations to enhance the department’s academic performance. This meeting reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to applying academic quality standards and achieving excellence in education in line with modern scientific developments.
