The Scientific Activities Unit at the College of Engineering Technology – Department of Electrical Engineering Technology, organized an awareness and developmental workshop under the supervision of Engineer Mustafa Mohammed on Monday, April 13, 2026, for second-stage students, titled: "Rationalizing Electricity Consumption.. Culture and Sustainability," under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. The workshop highlighted modern methods and smart technologies in rationalizing electrical energy consumption, and focused on the importance of spreading awareness among the student body regarding the optimal use of resources, and enhancing environmental culture that contributes to reducing waste and preserving energy as a fundamental pillar of development. This initiative came within a series of scientific activities held by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance the role of students in facing environmental and energy challenges, in line with the university's strategic vision and within national sustainability plans, reflecting the focus on preparing a conscious generation that contributes effectively to building a sustainable future for society. The workshop witnessed an emphasis on the university's efforts in enhancing energy efficiency and developing the technical skills of students to serve the public interest.
