The Scientific Activities Unit at the College of Engineering Technology – Department of Electrical Engineering Technology, in collaboration with relevant authorities, organized an awareness and developmental workshop under the supervision of Engineer Ali Naji, Engineer Haider Karrar, and Engineer Haider Jalal, on the morning of Sunday, April 12, 2026, titled: "The Integration of Engineering Technologies in Enhancing Water Conservation Culture to Ensure Environmental Sustainability," under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. The workshop highlighted the pivotal role of innovative engineering solutions in protecting water resources from waste, and focused on the importance of using modern technologies in monitoring and managing consumption, enhancing self-regulation among individuals and institutions, and building a sustainable environment that limits the depletion of water resources. This initiative came within a series of activities held by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance environmental awareness and highlight engineering contributions to building a sustainable future, in line with the university's strategic vision and within the national plan for sustainability and resource preservation, reflecting the focus on finding effective technical solutions that serve society. The workshop witnessed an emphasis on the university's efforts in supporting innovations that contribute to rationalizing consumption and achieving sustainable development goals.
