The Student Activities Unit at the College of Engineering Technology – Department of Electrical Engineering Technology, organized an awareness and developmental workshop under the supervision of Engineer Ali Naji, Engineer Haider Karrar, and Engineer Haider Jalal, on Monday, April 13, 2026, titled: "Digital Responsibility and Psychological Security: Ways to Confront Cyberbullying in the University Environment," under the patronage of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi.
The workshop highlighted the pivotal role of digital responsibility in protecting students from the risks of extortion and bullying, and focused on the importance of enhancing psychological security within the university community, providing effective technical and psychological mechanisms for dealing with digital harassment, and building a safe educational environment that supports psychological and social stability.
This initiative came within a series of activities held by Al-Mustaqbal University to promote ethical values in the digital space and highlight the role of technical awareness in protecting the university community, in line with the university's strategic vision and within the national plan for digital security and community safety, reflecting the focus on fortifying students and empowering them to face modern electronic challenges.
The workshop witnessed an emphasis on the university's efforts in enhancing the quality of university life and consolidating the principles of mutual respect in digital interactions.
