The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Sustainability Week Committee at the university, organized an educational and developmental awareness campaign under the supervision of (Assistant Instructor Haider Karrar Hussein, Assistant Instructor Ali Naji Radi, and Assistant Instructor Mustafa Mohammed Hasan) on Sunday, April 12, 2026, titled: "Prevention of Electrical Hazards and Enhancement of Occupational Safety and Security Standards," under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of safety culture in protecting families and society from the dangers of electrical accidents. It focused on the importance of early awareness, promoting positive supervision, and building a supportive environment that limits the spread of these serious risks. ​This initiative came as part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance health awareness and highlight its contributions to building a sustainable future, in line with the university's strategic vision and within the "Sustainability Week" activities, reflecting the focus on community protection and empowerment. ​The campaign witnessed a confirmation of the university's efforts in enhancing safety and saw wide interaction from students and staff in spreading awareness within the campus. ​Al-Mustaqbal University..
