The Department of Building and Construction Technologies Engineering organized a scientific workshop entitled “Sustainability in Modern Construction Materials” as part of its academic activities aimed at promoting engineering awareness of sustainability concepts and their applications in the construction sector.
The workshop addressed the concept of sustainability in construction materials and its role in reducing environmental impacts and improving resource efficiency. It also highlighted the latest eco-friendly materials and modern technologies used in sustainable construction projects.
In addition, the workshop included scientific discussions between lecturers and students on the importance of adopting high-efficiency building materials that help reduce energy consumption and lower carbon emissions, in line with global trends toward green construction.
