The College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the Department of Art Education, held a specialized awareness workshop targeting department students titled Environmental Creativity: Using Art to Raise Awareness About Sustainability, under the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mazin Hadi Kazar. The workshop, prepared by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Atiyah Mousa and Assistant Lecturer Suhair Kazem Jassim, highlighted the pivotal role of arts in supporting environmental issues and enhancing community awareness toward sustainable development. The workshop's themes focused on linking artistic creativity with the Global Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 regarding Quality Education, Goal 11 on Sustainable Cities and Communities, Goal 13 on Climate Action, and Goal 15 concerning Life on Land. Participants discussed mechanisms for employing artistic skills to serve nature and the climate and to create a sustainable university environment.
