The Department of Intelligent Medical Systems at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, discussed a graduation project for fourth-year students entitled: “Integrated Hospital Management System for Users, Medical Staff, and Administrative Staff,” held in Hall BC 004 in the Medical Building on Monday, April 13, 2026, in the presence of a specialized discussion committee, along with a number of faculty members and students. The project was prepared by the students Hassan Alaa Abees Ubaid, Wissam Jawad Kadhim Abbas, Mohammed Baqir Alaa Ghanim Ubood, and Reem Shihab Hamdan Fahad, under the supervision of Lecturer Dr. Ahmed Adnan Hadi, as part of efforts to develop integrated digital solutions that enhance the management of healthcare institutions. The project aimed to design and implement a comprehensive hospital management system that connects users, medical staff, and administrative staff within a unified platform, contributing to organizing medical data, facilitating administrative procedures, and improving the quality of healthcare services. The discussion committee consisted of Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Manea, Assistant Lecturer Aya Mohammed, and Assistant Lecturer Ameer Ahmed Ghani. The committee praised the students’ efforts and the scientific level of the project, emphasizing the importance of developing such systems to support digital transformation in the healthcare sector. The discussion session featured a detailed presentation by the students, highlighting the system components, operational mechanisms, and achieved results, with positive engagement from the attendees, who commended the project’s role in enhancing healthcare management efficiency. This project comes as part of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems’ efforts to prepare qualified graduates capable of employing modern technology to serve the healthcare sector, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first one university in Iraq.
