The Industrial College Technologies Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Universit Al-Mustaqbal, participated on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in the “Future Sustainability March,” organized as part of the Fourth International Future Sustainability Week, with broad participation from students and academic staff across the university. The march was launched from the main square near the central building in an academically engaging environment that reflected a strong institutional commitment to sustainability principles and environmental responsibility. The activity incorporated a structured field tour through key scientific and research facilities within the university campus, including the University Nature Reserve and the Energy Research Center. These stations exemplify the university’s applied scientific approach to sustainability through the integration of research, innovation, and experiential learning. In a keynote address, Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, Director of Academic Scientific Supervision, representing the University President, emphasized the strategic priority of advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He highlighted the university’s sustained commitment to embedding sustainability within its academic, research, and community engagement frameworks, reinforcing its leadership in this domain.
