The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radi, and Asst. Lect. Ali Abbas Mohammed) on Monday, April 13, 2026, titled: "The Importance of Clean Energy and Its Role in Protecting the Environment," under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of renewable energy in reducing pollution, focusing on explaining clean energy sources such as solar and wind power, and their benefits in preserving natural resources. It aimed to promote a preventive culture and build a sustainable university environment that adopts eco-friendly technical solutions. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance environmental awareness and showcase the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
