The Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Israa Issa Ibrahim) on Monday, April 13, 2026, titled: "The Importance of the Engineer's Role in Developing Society and Achieving Sustainable Development," under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi. ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of engineers in driving progress, focusing on their contributions to technical, engineering, and infrastructure fields, and the importance of innovation and creativity in improving the quality of life. This aimed to promote a professional culture and build a university environment that recognizes the significant responsibility of engineering cadres in building the future. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance professional awareness and showcase the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable society.
