The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies presented a case study delivered by researchers Assist. Prof. Murtadha Abbas Abd and Zaid Mahmoud Shaker on Monday, 13/02/2026, at the Energy Research Center at Al-Mustaqbal University, which is considered the leading private university in Iraq.
The study addressed the mechanism for enabling local access to the university’s systems and website via the internal network, with the aim of ensuring the continuity of academic and administrative services without being affected by internet outages. This is achieved through the use of local servers and continuous synchronization technologies, thereby enhancing institutional performance efficiency within the university campus.
This study comes in response to the technical challenges associated with unstable internet connectivity and as part of efforts to develop digital infrastructure. It contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), by supporting digital transformation and strengthening the continuity of the educational process.
