As part of the Sustainability Week activities and under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the University's Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. ​The campaign, titled "The Importance of Electrical Safety and Methods of Accident Prevention," was held under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, and Teaching Assistant Rand Maan Ahmed). ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of health and preventive awareness, focusing on providing guidance on the safe use of electrical appliances, avoiding short circuits, and the importance of periodic maintenance. This aimed to foster a preventive culture, reduce risks, and build a safe university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
