As part of the Sustainability Week activities and under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies at the College of Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the University's Sustainability Week Committee, organized an awareness and developmental campaign on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. ​The campaign, titled "Values of Modesty, Respect for Women, and Their Role in Protecting Community Identity," was held under the supervision of (Teaching Assistant Ali Naji Radhi, Teaching Assistant Haider Karrar Hussein, and Teaching Assistant Israa Issa Ibrahim). ​The campaign highlighted the pivotal role of social and ethical awareness, focusing on providing educational information about the importance of modesty as a fundamental pillar for preserving individual dignity, and the role of respecting women in enhancing family and community cohesion. It also provided guidance on establishing these values as a primary defense for protecting community identity against foreign negative phenomena, fostering a preventive culture and building a university environment based on solidarity and cooperation. ​This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance social responsibility and highlight the contributions of scientific departments in building a sustainable future.
