The Department of Industrial College Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies announces the organization of a scientific workshop entitled “Towards a Sustainable Healthcare System: Integration of Physical Treatment and Psychological Support for Patients with Kidney Failure.” The workshop aims to enhance the concepts of comprehensive healthcare among students and interested participants. The workshop will be delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Burhan Hadi Darbi, PhD in Psychiatric Nursing, who will discuss the importance of integrating psychological support with physical treatment in improving the quality of life of patients with kidney failure, as well as the role of nursing and healthcare professionals in providing sustainable and effective care. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Medical Building – First Floor – Hall (101).
