Within its plan to develop the digital competencies of its members, the Department of Finance and Banking at the Humanitarian Building of Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized scientific workshop on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, titled “Creative Ideas in E-Learning Teaching.” The workshop aimed to adapt technology to serve financial and banking sciences.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ameer Sabbar Abdul, who addressed the importance of transitioning from traditional education to smart education, especially in financial disciplines that require precision and continuous interaction.

Smart assessment: adopting modern techniques to evaluate students’ performance in practical aspects of banking and financial markets.
The session witnessed notable engagement from faculty members and students of the Department of Finance and Banking. Discussions focused on how to integrate global virtual banking systems into academic curricula and exchange experiences on the best technological methods to ensure students’ understanding in an engaging and innovative way.
The department presidency stated that this workshop comes in response to labor market demands, which now heavily rely on financial technology (FinTech). They emphasized that developing instructors’ skills in this field directly enhances the quality of academic outcomes, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of leadership and innovation.
