The Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering Technologies organized an awareness event under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, on Monday, 13/04/2026, within the campus of Al-Mustaqbal University. The event was delivered by a number of faculty members and targeted female students of the department. The event highlighted the prominent role of women within the department, where females constitute approximately 70% of the staff, reflecting their strong presence and their ability to excel and innovate in both academic and technical fields. It emphasized their capacity to achieve success and contribute to building an advanced educational environment based on competence and knowledge. The event addressed several key themes aimed at enhancing the status and empowerment of women, including raising awareness of the importance of self-confidence, developing personal and professional skills, and promoting a culture of respect and cooperation within the university community. It also provided practical guidance to support female students and enable them to face challenges with confidence and awareness. The event featured an interactive component, including activities and workshops designed to develop students’ abilities, strengthen their leadership skills, and encourage their active participation in various academic and professional fields. This event aligns with national directions to support and empower women and represents the implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (2025–2030). It also contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 5 (Gender Equality), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). It further affirms the leading role of Al-Mustaqbal University among private universities in Iraq in supporting women and enhancing their status within the educational environment, contributing to the preparation of a conscious generation capable of building a better future.
