It protects against dehydration<br />Since water has many benefits, excessive drinking leads to many harms as well<br />Excessive water can negatively affect human health and lead to a condition called “water poisoning,” a condition that leads to a decrease in the concentration of electrolytes that promote the movement of nutrients into the cells of the body and the excretion of metabolic products from them.<br />The amount of sodium in the blood may decrease. It is needed to maintain intracellular and intercellular fluid balance ، But if you drink too much water at once, fluid will begin to build up outside your blood vessels, which can lead to nausea, cramps, and imbalances. Excessive drinking of water at once may increase protein breakdown and lead to risks to the heart due to a low level of potassium in the blood. And there is a disturbance in its conduction, and a heart attack may occur.<br />.<br />People most at risk of water poisoning<br />1.
