<br />As per the directives of Assist. Prof. Dr. Azher M. Abid, Head of Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineering Department, and through the Renewable Energy Team, a solar energy system has been installed on the roofs of the Scientific Building at Al-Mustaqbal University College with a capacity of 5 kilowatts for the purpose of supplying electricity to a number of Administrative Units during the day, in addition to operating the lighting of the College exterior and the camera system during the night.<br />It is considerable to note that the main objective behind this pioneering project is to achieve SDG7, which is related to using clean and affordable energy sources.<br />
