Under the Guardianship of Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Dean of Al-Mustaqbal University College, the Medical Labs Department has organized a seminar entitled<br /><br />“Cholera Epidemic: Causes & Lab Diagnosis”<br /><br />It is remarkable to note that the Seminar Lecture has been delivered by the Student Tarfa Khlaif Faris, under the supervision of the Academic Ms. Zahraa Abdul Mahdi. The seminar has dealt with several issues that have been widely investigated, including the external features of the bacteria, its internal structure, and growth tendencies in agricultural media, in addition to categorizing this bacteria according to biochemical tests. Besides, the seminar has had the opportunity to address the virulence factors of Cholera Bacteria, such as toxins, and their ability to cause disease.<br />We should keep in mind after all that this seminar comes as part of the College Program to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically, SDG3: Good Health & Well-Being as well as SDG 4: Quality Education.<br />
